Certification
How Superpowered Professional certification works, what the participant receives, and how companies can use it.
Superpowered Professional certification confirms the level at which someone works with AI today. It is linked to the assessment and describes current practice, not a lifetime diploma.
Certification is awarded by level. The AI work style, Growth Edge, and SP Score serve as additional context.
#Four certification levels
| Level | Certification name | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| AI Explorer | SP™ AI Explorer | The person is trying AI and looking for the first stable use |
| L1 Operator | SP™ Certified L1 Operator | AI is a regular part of their work |
| L2 Builder | SP™ Certified L2 Builder | They build personal workflows, assistants, or tools |
| L3 Transformer | SP™ Certified L3 Transformer | AI changed how they do an important part of work |
No level is "bad". Explorer is not a failure and Transformer is not a mandatory goal for everyone. Certification describes a state, not a person's value.
#What the participant receives
After a completed assessment, the participant may receive:
- a digital badge,
- a shareable verification link,
- a PDF certificate,
- an optional public profile.
Nothing is published automatically. The participant decides what they share and with whom.
#Re-certification
Work with AI changes quickly, so certification makes sense as a repeatable snapshot. Re-certification is typically done after a coaching program or after 6 to 12 months.
The result can change in several ways:
- the person moves to a higher level,
- they stay on the same level but move inside it,
- their natural AI work style changes,
- the recommended next step becomes more precise.
Often the most valuable part is not the new title itself, but the difference between two measurements.
#How companies use it
Companies use certification mainly for development:
- finding people who can become internal AI champions,
- deciding who should enter a more advanced program,
- showing progress after coaching,
- creating a shared language for work with AI.
Certification should not be used for performance reviews, promotions, or pay decisions. It is a development signal.
Certification does not say how good someone is at their job. It only says how they use AI today and what evidence supports that result.
